Notes from the host:
"This year's Summer Conference in Joseph will explore many areas of interest for ag teachers around the state. It's one of the best times to be in Northeast Oregon with abundant wildlife and beautiful landscape's.

"Areas to be covered on a local basis are the ongoing wolf concerns for local livestock producers, including the loss of livestock on private land and the compensation programs. In addition, locally we will be looking at livestock producers that have found a very successful grass fed beef program, as well as a producer with a range sheep operation.

"As always in Joseph we will be offering Teachers an opportunity to test their skills with fly rods, varmint control plus other outdoor activities. Joseph and Enterprise offer many places to eat and shop.

"BONUS: There will be a one-day float on the Grande Ronde available Saturday after conference for$ 65.00 per person including lunch and transportation. Check the website for more details soon."
