Josh illustrates his best ag teacher storyOn March 24th Pendleton was host to helicopters, hypnotism, and the end of the 80th Oregon FFA State Convention - as well as over forty students who were learning why Agricultural Education may be a career choice for them.

JD Cant presents a personal example of teachers making a difference.OVATA put on "Teach Ag Ed," a workshop part of Blue Mountain Community College's Discovery Day.  Marlene Mensch, J.D. Cant, and Wes Crawford introduced students to three key benefits to teaching agricultural education as a career:  being a leader in agriculture, making a difference in others, and having fun.

From sharing their favorite stories about their FFA advisor to belting out lyrics of songs in chorus, the FFA members present were active participants in exploring why agricultural education just might be an option for them in the future.
